Graduated from Minato Kindergarten, Benten Elementary, Ichioka Junior High, Otemae High School, Osaka University, School of Human Sciences, Department of Education and Culture, then joined the Takashimaya Corporation.

Through his work in retail and purchasing,
he witnessed the economic downturn in Osaka,
and enrolled in the Ishin Seijijuku School of Politics. He was a student of the very first intake.
